Amazon’s biggest annual sale event, Prime Day, will take place on July 11 and 12, 2023, less than three weeks away. It’s never too early to start thinking about the big sale and making a list of everything you want.
Here’s all you need to know about Prime Day 2023 and how to get ready for the inevitable price drop.
When is Amazon’s 2023 Prime Day?
Prime Day is an annual shopping event on Amazon that is open only to Prime subscribers. There will be discounts on thousands of items across all categories for two days.
When is Amazon Prime Day 2023?
On July 11 and 12, 2023, Amazon will hold Prime Day. This year’s Prime Day is expected to go as long as last year’s, which was two days.
Amazon Prime Day has traditionally covered two days in recent years. Traditionally, Prime Day has taken place in July, but owing to the pandemic of 2020, the sale was moved to October. Returning to its traditional summertime slot in June 2021, Prime Day then moved to July 2022.
First held in October 2022, the Prime Early Access Sale was similar to Prime Day in terms of the discounts it offered. Prime Early Access occurred during the busy holiday shopping season as opposed to the slower summer months.
How to prepare for Amazon Prime Day 2023
To begin with, though: Verify that your Amazon Prime subscription is active. After your free trial ends, monthly membership costs $14.99, and annual membership is $139. Prime members get free two-day delivery, unlimited photo storage, and unlimited reading, in addition to access to Prime Video and ad-free music streaming. Prime members can only access many of the finest offers on Prime Day, including Lightning offers (more on those in a moment).
Once you have your membership set up, check to be that your payment information is current, including your 1-Click settings and your default delivery, so that you may take advantage of sales as soon as they become available.
In addition, Prime members may soon be able to use the Amazon app to sign up for deal alert notifications based on their previous Amazon searches and recently seen items in the weeks leading up to the event. Members will be alerted about Prime Day sales via push notifications as soon as they become available.
When you make a Wish List, put an item in your shopping cart, or put it aside for later, Alexa can probably alert you to sales 24 hours before they become available to everyone else. Alexa users also have the option to buy these products.
Tips for finding the best Prime Day deals
You should bookmark the Amazon Deals Page well in advance of Prime Day, as that is where you will find all the things discounted during the event. Prime Day offers typically sell out quickly, and new discounts are added frequently throughout the sale event, so be sure to check back frequently.

What are the best sales we expect?
