Police are looking for the perpetrator of the assault on the Starbucks employee.

On Friday, it took place at a Starbucks in the heart of Fresno.

“I have no idea what she was wearing, sort of. If she had gone to the rest of my coworkers instead of stopping at me. Breanna Finney, a Starbucks barista, stated, “I’m the one who everyone is seeking to protect them and I can’t do that.

The barista breaks down in tears as she describes what she was thinking when she was attacked at work.

Ashlan, West, and Finney work as managers at this Starbucks. She claims that this all began when, as she prepared to shut down the store, a woman applying makeup blocked the door to a room where she needed to get cleaning supplies.

Finney repeatedly requested her to leave before dialing 911.

Finney claimed that she instructed the woman to leave when she requested for more water.

She and the other staff were the targets of the woman’s shouting. At that point, Finney made a second call to the police.

After being informed that the police were en route, the woman left the store but quickly returned. Finney claimed that is when it became aggressive.

She flung a hot cup of water at my head from the other side of the counter. She then pretended to wash her hands as she walked around the counter, poured the cup back up, and hurled it at me, according to Finney.

According to the Fresno Police Department, they answered Finney’s call.

Action News is informed that the attack is the subject of an ongoing investigation.

Finney, however, believes that speaking forward will prevent others from going through what she has.

Finney argued that unless you regain control, “these are like mental scars that are going to be there forever.”

Action News contacted Starbucks for a response.

The well-being of our partners (workers) is currently our top priority, they declared.
